What is the dress code?
Answer
As the ceremony will be in a church, we recommend to wear your Sunday best! Men are encouraged to wear suits or tuxedos. Collared shirts and dress pants are also permitted. For women, modest, elegant dresses are suggested.

What is the travel distance between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The commute from the church to the reception is around 30 minutes with normal Portland traffic.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will be in a church so flashed photos is not permitted. But feel free to take photos descretely during the ceremony.
Question
What should do during an Orthodox wedding?
Answer
The service includes prayers, the crowning of the bride and groom, and a ceremonial walk around the altar. There will be periods of standing and much of the service is sung or chanted.
