We could have run into each other a thousand times at school or church but we met at work. It took a little while to start speaking to each other but once we did, we never stopped talking. When we found out how many times we could have run into each other it was funny to us and honestly it seemed so crazy, like it was supposed to happen this way. Suddenly just being co-workers turned into something amazing.
We had been dating for a year on September 22, 2017. So we went out the day before for our anniversary. We went to dinner and discussed our plans for our future together, as we often did. There were high hopes that a proposal with a certain ring would be coming, but not any time soon. As we were leaving the restaurant, we decided to make a trip to our favorite spot, a pier on Lovers Lane where we kissed for the first time. When we arrived there was a sign in bold red letters that read ‘NO TRESPASSING’. One of us (the scaredy-cat) absolutely refused to go on that pier. But he wouldn’t take no for an answer and he scooped me up and brought me out there. Once he set me down I remembered why we loved this place so much. It’s where our little adventure started and it’s where the most incredible things happened to us. Our first kiss, and where we decided that this was it, this was forever.
