Is there a dress code?

Our wedding is black-tie, and we’d love for you to dress to impress! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or a formal black suit, while ladies should wear a black floor-length gown or an elegant black cocktail dress. As we celebrate with a cocktail-style reception and plenty of dancing, we encourage you to bring your 'comfort feet' and be ready to party! We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

We are so excited to celebrate with you! If your invitation includes a plus one, you're welcome to bring an additional guest. For those who did not receive a plus one on their invitation, we kindly ask that you join us on your own. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We will have a variety of food options to accommodate various dietary preferences and restrictions. While we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or custom orders, if you have a food allergy or concern, we encourage you to speak with the catering staff on the day of the event to ensure your safety. Your well-being is important to us, but please be mindful of your personal dietary needs.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking for both the ceremony and reception is available through city-operated facilities, including street parking and a nearby parking garage. Please note that standard parking rates will apply. We recommend allowing extra time to find parking and walking to the venue. St. Luke Chapel : The two closest parking garages are the President Street Garage at 91 President Street and the Ashley/Rutledge Garage, with entrances at 135 Rutledge Avenue and 158 Ashley Avenue. South Carolina Aquarium: The most convenient parking garage is located at 24 Calhoun Street, adjacent to Liberty Square and the Aquarium. There is also metered parking on streets surrounding the Aquarium. Please note: Both of these options are pay-to-park and are not operated by the Aquarium; the parking garage accepts credit cards only.

There will be seating available at the reception, but please note that it will be limited. The cocktail-style reception will feature high-top tables and lounge seating, encouraging mingling and movement throughout the event. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for dancing and socializing!
