Question
What are the rules of the reception venue?
Answer
If children under 16 are not in the pavilion (where the dinner and band will be), they must be within arms reach of an adult. This includes the gardens, bar, and fountains. No outside cannabis or alcohol is permitted; if it is found, the couple will be charged $1,000. Cigarettes are only allowed in the parking lot.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our theme for the wedding is pastel garden or wildflowers! Please dress for a semi-formal occasion and keep modesty in mind for a Catholic Church wedding. Ladies, please do not wear white. The reception is mostly outside and has some walking paths and a gravel parking lot. Keep this in mind when selecting your shoes (and make sure you can dance in them!)

How will the bar work?
Answer
The couple will host the first $1,000 of alcoholic drinks at the bar up to a $10 drink. NA drinks from the bar, drinks over $10, and drinks after the first $1,000 are available for purchase. No outside cannabis or alcohol is allowed. No shots are allowed.

Where are the bathrooms?
Answer
At the church, there are bathrooms located on both levels. At the reception, the large building near the entrance to the gardens is the ONLY location for bathrooms. There are 4 single-person bathrooms available.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Anyone and everyone is welcome to our wedding mass. However, we are strictly at the limit for the reception venue. Please refer to your invitations to see what guests are invited.

Can I bring my baby to the reception?
Answer
Children under three aren't included in the reception venue's guest count and are free to come! Please keep in mind that they will not be provided a dinner seat and Hillside does not have high chairs available. Parents can have children sit in their lap or bring a stroller/car seat.

Will there be adoration or confession available before the wedding?
Answer
On Fridays, St Francis offers adoration after the 8:30 am mass until 3:15 pm! Unfortunately, confession is only offered on Saturdays 4:00 - 4:30 pm. If you go to adoration around 2:30 pm, you might even catch a glimpse of the couple praying together before their wedding!
