When/Where/What to Expect

Our wedding will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at The Vineyard at Florence in Florence, Texas at 5 pm. We invite you to join us for an outdoor ceremony, followed by an indoor reception. Sip on bubbles, celebrate with us, and let yourself believe - just for the evening - that you’ve traveled all the way to Tuscany.

Where should we stay?

Answer

For the wedding night, we recommend staying in Georgetown, Texas! Our venue in Florence is charming but a bit rural, so options there are limited. The drive from Georgetown to the venue is just about 20 minutes. If you’re thinking about exploring Austin (which we definitely think you should!), try to plan that before Sunday - the drive back after the wedding might be a little bit of a doozy.

Will transportation be provided? YES! 🚌

We’ve reserved a party bus to start the celebration off on the right foot! It will depart from the Sheraton Georgetown at 3:30 PM (arriving to the venue around 4:30 PM) and return to the Sheraton at the end of the night around 10:00 PM. If you’d like a seat (for $30 per person round trip), please indicate this on your RSVP or send us a text. Spots are limited - please keep in mind Ubers are few and far between on a Sunday night so if you are not renting a car, please hop on! When is the RSVP Deadline

Please RSVP by Friday March 27th, 2026. The sooner you say yes, the better it is for us (and our planning sanity!)

Dress Code

Please wear your florals, pastels, and dancing shoes! The dress code is Italian Garden Party - think linen shirts, long flowy dresses, and effortless elegance. We’re dreaming of colorful, joyful photos, so wear your best garden party look and have fun with it!

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony (4:30 pm). Feel free to wander the beautiful vineyard, enjoy a glass of wine at the onsite restaurant, and relax before the celebration begins.

How far is the venue from Austin?

Answer

We recommend you stay in Georgetown, TX, which is about 45 minutes from the Austin airport. Our venue, The Vineyard at Florence (111 Via Francesco, Florence, TX 76527), is another 20 minutes from Georgetown, approximately a 1 hour drive from the airport. We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore - there’s so much to see! Ride-share services will be available, but they can be a bit pricey or harder to snag depending on the time of day.

Is there a hotel block?

We’ve added a few travel recommendations for you to explore, but feel free to book wherever feels right for you! There might be some nice Airbnbs near our venue, but we don’t have a block at any particular hotel. We also have a few onsite villas that could be available. If that sounds like your kind of stay, just reach out to us - we’d love to help!

Can I bring a plus one?

We love everyone that you love, but unfortunately our venue has a strict capacity. Guests that are invited will be addressed via your RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.

We’ll have a delicious buffet dinner at the reception, plus an open bubbles bar to toast the night away! 🥂 Just a heads-up - the venue does not allow outside alcohol, so leave your flasks at home or hide them well 😉

Are kids allowed?

We explored every avenue, but we kindly ask that this be an adult only event. We love your kiddos, but due to the venue being at a vineyard, please use our wedding as an opportunity for a grown up getaway!

Early May in Texas usually brings perfect spring weather - warm, sunny days with highs in the mid-80s and evenings in the mid-60s. It could sprinkle, so a little humidity-fighting hairspray (and maybe an umbrella) could come in handy!
