We got Married, Time To celebrate!

They met in elementary school. They were classmates at first and then became crushes, but never truly anything more. Addie began her crush in 4th grade while Gabe had his in 6th. They remained awkward friends until 7th grade when they drifted apart before Addie had to move away. 7 years pass, relationships began and ended, high school began and ended. Then came college. Addie was a sophomore in college; Gabe was working full time at his job. Addie made an investment in a tablet for better school notes and in the process gained access to her old snapchat from middle school. One of the many names on the old account was Gabe Welker. Thinking nothing of it she added him onto her present account and went on with her life. Gabe had just gotten back from a family trip and had a good talk with someone at the airport and wanted to remain in contact via snapchat. He redownloads the app the same week after many years of not having it and stumbles upon Addie's add request. He accepts and messages her, "Long time no see, how's life treating ya?" The rest is history. They began talking day in and out about anything and everything. Everything clicked, everything felt right. They decided to meet up to catch up as old pals though they had different ideas. Gabe went in testing Addie as a potential partner to become a date, Addie thought of it as old friends catching up and having lunch. It was love at second sight as Gabe calls it. They immediately hit it off and end up spending the whole day together and became inseparable. Addie was fresh out of a committed relationship and was not ready for another one. Gabe waited for her and remained strong in his advances and getting to know each other. After prayer and guidance from God, Addie tells Gabe she is ready to be in a relationship a few weeks later. They officially began their love story September 21, 2024. They grew together far more than either of them could have hoped. They went through thick and thin and learned from each other love, boundaries, honesty, devotion and true sacrifice. After a year of dating God called them to marry and become one in covenant. They got engaged and had a private ceremony with family and continue their walk in faith. Now here they are counting down for the anniversary to celebrate with all they hold dear in the marriage celebration ceremony. Thank you to everyone for their support!
