High School sweet hearts, together 11 years and counting! A couple days before the world shut down and a few days after our 10 year anniversary Brian got on one knee, with Princeton University architecture as our background, and popped the question! We were supposed to be in Puerto Rico where Brian had planned the most beautiful evening to ask the question I had been patiently (well impatiently) waiting for. When COVID hit a week before our trip we were forced to cancel our flights and reservations and call off the trip. Having been together for so long I had a feeling Brian was going to propose during our trip so not only was I disappointed that the trip was postponed indefinitely but, I was also sad that I would have to continue to wait for our engagement. As it turned out Brian's wasn't interested in waiting any longer either and within 24 hours he hatched a new plan getting my whole family involved in the sweetest and most intimate proposal ever. 2020 was not the year we expected but it turned out to be the year Brian and I needed and I can't wait to see what the next couple years have in store from us!
