We met at Mission Navy Yard Rooftop! Gaby had gone with two friends to check out the vibe. She’d been there a few times before, loved the music and thought why not go again? Andreas was there with a group of friends Gaby didn’t know, and she didn’t know him either. Gaby and her friends went over because our two friends, Alay and Nick, were dancing and doing these hilarious pirouettes. They thought “wow, these guys are really having fun!” Then Andreas asked Gaby to dance… so we danced! Later he asked her for her number. She froze (typical Gaby) and initially didn’t give it to him. Gaby watched Andreas from a distance, clapping and cheering (classic tipsy Andreas move). Eventually she called him, shared her number, and the rest is history. Since then, we’ve shared so many laughs, adventures, and countless cozy cooking nights in. Andreas has even surprised Gaby by turning into quite the chef!
