We’re getting married!

Funny thing is, I wasn’t looking to date anyone at the time. So, I kept saying, "No." to my co-worker who was trying to set us up on a blind date. On April 22nd 2015, I finally caved, and this handsome man rode his motorcycle into my life! It was slow at first, but it just felt right. Now, we’re inseperable! There’s no one else I'd want to spend the rest of my life with.

In January of 2019, Mark and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas. Neither of us had been on a cruise before so it was beyond exciting. Plus, it was our first real vacation alone so everything was already perfect. After a couple of days on the ship, Mark pointed out that there were photographers we could schedule sessions with. I initially said no as I didn’t want to spend money on expensive pictures. Regardless, Mark scheduled an appointment for the next day. We got dressed up, my nails were done, and makeup was on. We were looking good! The photographer took us around the ship for different pictures, and we ended on the top deck. The last picture was me with my back turned towards Mark. The photographer told me to turn around, and Mark was on his knee with a ring held out to me. I burst into tears! “Will you marry me?” The words I have always waited for. The ring is beautiful, and I am SO in love. Im marrying my best friend!
