FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rhiannon McMaster and Gabe Stroup
If you have any questions, please reach out to Rhiannon directly. We will either refer you to our venue coordinator, Emer, or answer ourselves!
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the size of the venue, we are not allowing plus ones at the ceremony itself. When we have our big party back home, plus ones are more than welcome!

Question

How do I know if I'm invited to the ceremony?

Answer

Our bridal party and immediate family are the only people attending the ceremony. If you're included, we've already reached out to ask you to join us!

Question

How do I know if I'm invited to the big reception party?

Answer

Invitations to our big reception party will go out closer to the date of the celebration. We still need to finalize details but want this experience to be as inclusive as possible. Please hold off on asking for specifics about this right this moment. Once we have more details, we will reach out to those who we'd like to invite!

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Formal evening attire! Our bridal party will be in browns and nudes. We request floor length gowns for women, nice slacks or khakis and a suit jacket/button up for men. No jeans or cocktail attire please!

Question

What is the dress code for the reception?

Answer

For our big reception party, we'd love to see everyone in breezy, summer clothes, as we're hoping to celebrate in early spring! For women, sundresses, cocktail attire, wedges, etc. For men, khaki shorts or pants and button downs with nice shoes. PLEASE NO JEANS!!!!

Question

I want to see the ceremony but can't make it to Ireland. What should I do?

Answer

We are hoping to be able to livestream the ceremony via Facebook or a similar service. It is possible that we'd do this via zoom, skype, etc. Details to follow!

Question

I can't make it to Ireland, is that okay?

Answer

Absolutely! We understand that travel can be a burden. Between costs, timing, etc, we are very understanding. If you can't make it to the ceremony but you were explicitly invited, please don't feel bad letting us know that you can't make it! We are very patient and understanding people. As much as we'd love for everyone to be at the ceremony, we're hoping that a bigger reception will help with those who can't make it overseas!

Question

Where do I RSVP for the ceremony?

Answer

You can RSVP here on the Zola site! We do have our RSVPs protected via a specified list to ensure that only those attending the ceremony can RSVP for that part. If you have received an invite to the ceremony, you can RSVP online.

Question

Where do I RSVP for the reception?

Answer

TBD! We are hoping to continue using Zola for RSVPs for the reception, even after the ceremony has concluded. Once you receive an invite for the reception, details on how to RSVP will be included.
