We can’t wait to say "I Do!"

Gabe was working a KAR Nationals that Monica (& the entire MDX studio) were attending. Michelle, (Monica’s mom) is who gave the initial introduction as they arrived to the competition as she'd known Gabe from past events. The week went by and Gabe & Monica didn’t talk much or even see each other for the matter. On the last day of the event Monica and Michelle discussed inviting Gabe to teach at their upcoming summer intensive to surprise the kids. So they flew Gabe up to MDX about 3 weeks later to teach where Monica (very smoothly) asked for his number so she could send him pictures and videos of classes and the kids. (Even though it was 2016 & HELLO, AIRDROP but Gabe didn’t mind.) They spent a few hours hanging out around the studio with some of the kids after classes before Monica had to take him to the airport for his flight home. The drive to the airport was filled with small talk, awkward silences, & laughs. It was then we knew there was more to one another than expected. Short conversation over the following weeks slowly turned into talking daily and spending Gabe’s 21st birthday together where Gabe asked Monica to be his girlfriend (even though they lived 450 miles apart.) Thankfully she said yes! The following year consisted of many trips between LA & the Bay, whether it was a Raider Game, Birthday/Holiday, or break from work to enjoy time at Disneyland together we easily took advantage of any time we could get together! If you were close to us (or followed us on IG) you knew how head over heels and invested completely in each other we were from the start. An official 9 months into the relationship Gabe decided he was going to make the leap to the bay to be with Monica indefinitely. Easy to say we must’ve been extremely excited because 10 months later we had our beautiful baby girl Harper Reign! 2 years and 11 months later we’re joining together to celebrate the love and commitment to each other that has come this far and will continue Always & Forever.
