Maid of Honor
The older that Avianna (better known as Avi) and I have gotten, the more we get mistaken for twins. We do look very similar but are in no way, shape, or form similar in personality. For these reasons, we did not get along as kids and struggled through a lot of our childhood resenting each other. However, as we each matured and grew in the Lord, we thankfully have become dear sisters and friends. Avi and I can have meaningful conversations about the Christian life and make each other laugh hystarically anytime we are around one another. Avi is the most generous and thoughtful person that I know. She loves the Lord deeply and because of that, she loves people deeply. I admire the way that she selflessly loves and serves others and she has also taught me many lessons about suffering well for the glory of God.
Best Man
Samuel and I grew up together in Colorado, but in 2011 we moved to Guatemala when our parents brought us along to be missionaries. Somehow we both ended up in the same state after leaving the house and both live in Minneapolis Minnesota. We're members at the same church and share much of our life with each other. Samuel loves the Lord Jesus and desires to serve Him in all ways. He continually shares the Hope he has in Jesus with those who don't.
Matron of Honor
Christine, known as Christy to many, was my college roommate for 3 years at Bethlehem College. We were pretty inseperable for those years and did basically everything together. Through the many ups and downs of college life, Christine has been my closest and most faithful friend. Christine was the first friend that knew me and knew me well enough to call me out on my stuff when I needed it. She has been a huge encouragement to me by reminding me of the truth of the gospel in my lowest moments. Christine's passion for global missions has encouraged me deeply and even produced a club at BCS where students are able to gather to pray for, learn about, and support missionaries around the globe. I am frequently inspired to love the Word of God and prayer more because of her. Christine has taught me much about faithfulness in friendships and the faithfulness of God.
Groomsman
Stephen and I met each other in 2021 through a friend (shout out Ellie Dahl) and have been best friends since. We both grew up as missionary kids in Latin America which gave us an understanding of each other that's hard to express to people that haven't grown up overseas. The Lord has providentially put Stephen one step ahead of me in life, so when I've struggled to understand or reconcile different circumstances, God has many times given Stephen the knowledge and experience to be an encouragement to me.
Bridesmaid
Trystin is a dear friend that I met at Bethlehem College. We've spent many late nights together laughing, crying, and having encouraging conversations about the Lord. From baking me goodies to sending me thoughtful texts, Trystin has been such a thoughtful and kind friend. She is also the person who masterfully conspired to talk me up in front of Gabe, therefore, getting all of the matchmaking credit. Throughout our friendship I have been so encouraged to know that Trystin is praying for me. She loves as Christ does and the way that she prioritizes ways to show it is so very evident in her life. She is a faithful church member and watching her love her fellow brothers and sisters is something I deeply admire about her and want to emulate.

Evan was the reason I survived my first year of College. We were both freshman at Bethany Global University in 2021 and hit it off from the second he thought I was an introvert (I wasn't). I'm beyond grateful for the friendship Evan has been so intentional to give me as we've done so much together. We flew to Alaska in the middle of Spring, saw Ephesus in Turkey and walked the streets of Rome. And through it all I've been amazed by Evan's heart for the lost and burdened.
Bridesmaid
Abby and I met and became friends while at Bethlehem College. Abby spent many years of her life in Taiwan and so we had a mutual understanding of each other's upbringings because of our shared third culture kid experiences. Abby is a friend that I can go weeks without spending time with yet instantly reconnect with. Her friendship is sweet, meaningful, and incredibly uplifting to me. Abby empathizes deeply with people and winsomley encourages her friends in the Lord. Abby has loved me so well as a friend and I always leave encouraged when we spend time together. The way that she loves her co-workers and seeks to show them the gospel has convicted me often. I admire the way that Abby loves sacrifically like Jesus and I am so thankful for the example that she sets to those around her.
Groomsman
Ryan is by far the funniest person I know, but he's also one of the most genuine brothers I've had. I'm so encouraged by how Ryan has labored to love his wife Emily as Christ loved the church and how he's given up his personal desires for his son Shepherd. Ryan has continued to humble himself before the Lord and always desires to understand His love for him. I've been so blessed to see Ryan show the world what it means to pursue the truth that has been given to Him and to share that truth with others.
Bridesmaid
Bella is Gabe's younger sister and while I have not yet met her, I have heard lots of stories and cannot wait to get to know her!! I admire Bella's determination, perseverance, and kindness and am so excited to learn more about her.
Groomsman
Wyatt has been my roommate for almost 2 years, which means for much of that we've been in close proximity to each other. I've been so encouraged by how Wyatt chooses to pursue the Lord and spiritual disciplines every day. Wyatt is also the most disciplined person I know, he's always improving which has always been convicting, but encouraging to my soul. I've been able to see the way Wyatt pursues his now wife, through dating and engagement, which has been helpful for me to observe as I've pursued Makayla.
