FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love kids, please use our wedding as a date night on us! This will be an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?/My name is not on the RSVP tab.

Answer

We have now sent in our final numbers to our caterer and venue. We are unable to accommodate any further guests. If you search your name in the RSVP tab and it does not appear, we will sadly not be able to accommodate you joining us. We ask that you please do not show up without being on the RSVP list or bring any unexpected guests. We would hate to run out of food for those who have made appropriate plans to join us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits & cocktail dresses. Dressy jumpsuits/rompers are welcome, or if you want to go for a more casual suit look (without coat, suspenders, etc.), we're also fine with that, but would love button-downs & dress pants at least. We don't want jeans, sneakers, or white dresses.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

In an ideal weather situation, the ceremony will be on the beautiful outdoor lawn of Bloom & Bower. We are hoping for this, so please plan accordingly--extremely thin heels may not be the best option as it is a primarily outdoor venue and the ceremony will be in the grass. In May, it might be toasty during the day, but a little chilly once the sun goes down. Dinner/reception will be indoors with doors open to the outside. Dancing and the bar will be outdoors on a beautiful twinkly-light, covered patio. In less ideal weather conditions for the ceremony, there may be tents placed over the seating area or in extreme conditions, it may be moved indoors.
