We're getting married!

We met briefly in 2016 through Alex's brother but didn't meet again until September 2020 when I sent him a message and asked him to be my date to a wedding. After the wedding we sat outside and talked for hours about anything and everything. We went another few months after that until we hung out again on December 30, 2020 but this time we never looked back!!

On September 1st, 2023 we left Chattanooga and drove to Ocean Springs, MS to spend Labor Day weekend with Alex's aunt and uncle. When we arrived, the 4 of us went straight to dinner and had the most amazing meal of endless seafood and wine. We went back to their house after and sat on the dock to enjoy the beautiful night- it was there that Alex stood up and completely shocked me by getting on one knee and popping the question.
