Please aim to arrive at the Church by 1:30 p.m. in order to say hello to your family and friends, find a seat, and allow for time and space for the bridal party to get situated for the procession. We plan to begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.
Formal Attire is requested please. For ladies, a long gown or cocktail dress is appropriate. For men, a suit is perfectly fine. No need for a tux on a hot summer day. :)

Absolutely! The Venetian takes great care in meeting everyone's dietary needs. You will order dinner from a pre-selected menu that night once you are seated in the ballroom. If you have any sort of allergy, make your server aware, and they will make your preferred selection allergy-friendly (or they may suggest a more allergy-friendly option). You can ask for an alternative option that is not on the menu that they may be able to serve you as well. In terms of the cocktail hour and Viennese dessert spread, you will have a variety of food selections to choose from. Feel free to ask the servers the ingredients. If it's not something that you can have due to an allergy, it can't hurt to ask if there's a way to get that dish prepared with your allergy in mind.
Yes, there should be plenty of spots available in the St. Mary's parking lot. If one lot fills, you can park in the school parking lot across the street from the church. If that happens to fill up, there is plenty of safe street parking on that street and on surrounding nearby side streets. There are more than enough parking spots available at The Venetian.

There is NO transportation available to and from the hotel to the Ceremony at St. Mary's in Nutley, but there IS transportation available to and from The Hampton Inn & Suites Fairfield to the Reception at The Venetian in Garfield **to guests staying at the Hampton Inn!
If 20 rooms are booked in our wedding block at The Hampton Inn & Suites Fairfield, we will receive a complimentary shuttle that will take you and any guests staying at the hotel to the venue (from the hotel, NOT from the Church). After the Ceremony concludes in Nutley, there should be plenty of time to drive back to the hotel, check in, and hop on the shuttle prior to the start of the reception. After the reception ends, anybody staying at the hotel will be able to take the shuttle back to the hotel from the reception venue. The number of seats on the shuttle bus corresponds to the number of guests who have booked a room. If you do not book a room, we cannot guarantee you a seat on the shuttle (unfortunately).
