Our favorite breakfast spot that happens to be two doors down from our house. Pro tip: Make sure you get a $1 cupcake with your breakfast.
Coop's Place
Hole in the wall restaurant in the French Quarter - ignore the line and the surly staff, the fried chicken and rabbit jambalaya makes it worth it.
1000 Figs
Amazing mediterranean food and has options for vegetarians. They don't accept reservations but there's a great wine bar next door to pass the time while you wait.
Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits
Outdoor wine bar with live music and delicious cheese boards and small bites.
Mimi's In the Marigny
Our favorite neighborhood bar with a great variety of craft cocktails and beer/shot specials.

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar
The only place worth visiting on Bourbon, it's the oldest bar in New Orleans and offers a nice patio. Don't be afraid to try the purple drink but make sure you only get one :)
Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden
Beautiful and free, this is a great way to spend a few hours outside if you need a break from the French Quarter.

One of our favorite dive bars in the quarter - definitely get a frozen irish coffee.
Pho Noi Viet
New Orleans has a large Vietnamese population so we've been spoiled by some wonderful pho. This is one of our favorite spots and is BYOB.
Bar Marilou
A great place to drop by for a drink in the CBD - super romantic vibe and delicious cocktails.
One Eyed Jacks
If you need a break from jazz, One Eyed Jacks is a funky venue right in the middle of the quarter. It's a small intimate space with a variety of funky musicians from all over.
Maple Leaf Bar
Venture to uptown New Orleans to check out this amazing venue - some of New Orleans greatest will pop up here at anytime so you're always in store for some amazing music.
The Country Club
You can lose an entire day at this brunch spot - fabulous food, bottomless mimosas, and a pool in the back.

One of the best courtyards in the quarter for a drink and a snack.
