Things To Do

We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

The Spotted Cat Music Club

623 Frenchmen Street, New Orleans, LA 70116
, (504) 943-3887

This our favorite place on Frenchman St. to see authentic New Orleans music and may or may not have been the place we shared our first kiss. Note: It is a cash only bar.

d.b.a.

618 Frenchmen Street, New Orleans, LA 70116

Another one of our favorite Frenchman spots and is actually where we first met.

New Orleans Cake Café & Bakery

2440 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

Our favorite breakfast spot that happens to be two doors down from our house. Pro tip: Make sure you get a $1 cupcake with your breakfast.

Coop's Place

1109 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA 70116
, (504) 525-9053

Hole in the wall restaurant in the French Quarter - ignore the line and the surly staff, the fried chicken and rabbit jambalaya makes it worth it.

1000 Figs

3141 Ponce De Leon Street, New Orleans, LA 70119
, (504) 301-0848

Amazing mediterranean food and has options for vegetarians. They don't accept reservations but there's a great wine bar next door to pass the time while you wait.

Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits

600 Poland Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 948-9111

Outdoor wine bar with live music and delicious cheese boards and small bites.

Mimi's In the Marigny

2601 Royal Street, New Orleans, LA 70117

Our favorite neighborhood bar with a great variety of craft cocktails and beer/shot specials.

Luke

Great oyster happy hour in the CBD

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar

941 Bourbon Street, New Orleans, LA 70116
, (504) 593-9761

The only place worth visiting on Bourbon, it's the oldest bar in New Orleans and offers a nice patio. Don't be afraid to try the purple drink but make sure you only get one :)

Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden

1 Collins Diboll Circle, New Orleans, LA 70124
, (504) 658-4100

Beautiful and free, this is a great way to spend a few hours outside if you need a break from the French Quarter.

Sylvain

An intimate way to see great New Orleans music.

One of our favorite dive bars in the quarter - definitely get a frozen irish coffee.

Pho Noi Viet

2005 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

New Orleans has a large Vietnamese population so we've been spoiled by some wonderful pho. This is one of our favorite spots and is BYOB.

Bar Marilou

544 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
, (504) 814-7711

A great place to drop by for a drink in the CBD - super romantic vibe and delicious cocktails.

One Eyed Jacks

Venture to uptown New Orleans to check out this amazing venue - some of New Orleans greatest will pop up here at anytime so you're always in store for some amazing music.

The Country Club
