The Mill Hotel Sudbury - Surya Hotels

Room types can be viewed by visiting the hotel website: https://www.suryahotels.co.uk/mill-rooms/ These are the rooms we have reserved and their respective prices. Any other room types will need to be reserved via the hotel website or on booking.com. Please note the following prices include a 10% discount. Standard Double Room: £96.6/Night (VAT incl.) £289.80 Total for Reservation (VAT incl.) Superior Double Room: £132/Night (VAT incl.) £397 Total for Reservation (VAT incl.) If you prefer to stay Saturday-Monday please let us know and we will adjust your reservation accordingly. While we have pre-booked the rooms under our name, the stay will be paid directly to the hotel by each guest upon their arrival. Please let us know which rooms you would like so we can add your name to the reservation and send you an official email confirmation for your stay.

Flight

Gatwick, Heathrow, or Stansted Airports

Please fly into any of these 3 airports. Stansted is the closest but is usually only available to some low cost carriers such as Play Airlines and Ryan Air. Play Airlines is a great option for low cost tickets. There will be a short layover in Iceland but you can get flights as low as $125 one-way from select US airports.

Train

Trains from all Airports

Trains do run directly from all 3 airports, however they will involve a few transfers. If you do plan to use this option please get in touch with one of us so we can assist you in planning your trip according to your flight and plans before/after the wedding.

Shuttle

Shuttle from The Mill to Hedingham Castle

A shuttle will take everyone from The Mill to Hedingham and back on the day of the wedding.

Train

National Express Bus + Train

You can alternatively take a direct bus from any of the 3 major airports to Marks Tey Station, where you can then switch onto a train towards Sudbury.

Taxi Information

With Jayride, you can compare and book taxi services. If you would prefer to take a taxi (the easiest option), let Seb or I know your flight details and we can try to help you match up with other guests arriving around the same time so you can split the fare. Rental Car

Rental Cars Available with all Major Companies

If you are incorporating our wedding into your holiday plans, a rental car is a great option! Please note that the UK drives on the left side of the road and to be aware of speed cameras.
