Basin Harbor is working to ensure guests have plenty of room to maintain their space! Please social distance from the staff and guests outside of your trusted party whenever possible.
You must wear a mask any time you are within 6 feet of Basin Harbor staff or guests outside of your trusted party. If you are not seated and eating at your table, or socially distanced at the pool, waterfront, or other outdoor public spaces you must wear a mask.
Basin Harbor employees have learned department-specific Virus Prevention Cleaning Protocols and completed Vermont Occupational Safety and Health Administration (VOSHA) Training. Employees must also fill out a Daily COVID-19 Screening Survey before beginning their shift and any employees exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed to report to work. Employees will be wearing face masks, and gloves that are frequently changed during service will be worn as required by the tasks being performed. All guests staying on property at Basin Harbor must complete a Vermont State Certificate of Compliance within the 24 hours period prior to check in. Basin Harbor is also adhering to the State of Vermont Health Department’s Contact Tracing Requirements.
The ceremony format will be overall similar to a traditional ceremony, however, with safety regulations in mind, chairs will be set up with enough room to allow guests to remain socially distanced. For the duration of the ceremony, special permission has been given to the wedding couple and wedding party to forgo wearing masks. Masks are otherwise required by the State of Vermont.
Our cocktail hour will be a seated event and will transition to a traditional reception. Masks will only be required for those who are not seated. Bar and cocktail service will be available. All proper PPE will be in use by Basin Harbor staff. Please wear a mask on the dance floor!
The State of Vermont has determined that any county with less than 400 active cases of COVID19 per one million residents is eligible for quarantine-free leisure travel. The counties eligible for quarantine-free travel are being regularly updated here: https://accd.vermont.gov/covid-19/restart/crossstate-travel. If you are coming from another state, in a county with a caseload above 400 per 1 million, you may complete either a 14-day quarantine or a 7-day quarantine (7 days needs to be followed by a negative COVID test) in your home state.
