Where should I stay?

Answer

We would love to have as many people stay at the Trailside Inn with us as possible. We will provide a room booking code with formal invites. We also have a room block at a nearby inn. More information on how to book will be available with formal invites. A shuttle will be provided to and from the venue on the wedding day.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please see the wedding weekend schedule. We are planning on a Friday night welcome party in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. In addition, there will be a light brunch on Sunday morning.

Can I bring a date/kids?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate all invited guests. We love your kids, but we would love to give you a night off to spend with us! We understand the difficulties of finding child care, however we are limiting children to close family members.

So you're telling me I should bring a water bottle?

Answer

Because this is the Green Mountain state, our hotel strives to be very eco-friendly. As such, they discourage the use of single use plastic water bottles. We encourage our guests to bring their own water bottles for use during the weekend. The hotel provides ample filtered water for your enjoyment.

Saturday morning will be busy for the wedding party so we encourage you to explore some of the wonderful Vermont things that the Killington area has to offer. Check out our Things to Do page for suggestions!

What should I wear?

Answer

Ladies - most of the events will be on grass, so feel free to dress in comfortable, grass-friendly shoes. Please note temperatures tend to dip at night, and since the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside you might want to bring a jacket. However, there will also be heaters to help keep you warm.

Can I bring my own alcohol / is it BYOB?

Answer

You are welcome to bring your favorite drink for the welcome party only. Due to Vermont Liquor laws, all alcohol drinks during cocktail hour and the reception must be served by our caterer.
