One of our favorite things to do is enjoy a stroll walking around downtown Kalamazoo! So many fun little shops, boutiques, and other small businesses!
Our #1 FAV place to eat out!! Don’t forget to order the cosmic fries WITH cheese!
Bells is one of the most popular stops, but how do you visit Kalamazoo without visiting THE Bells Brewery? Stop in and try one of your Bell’s Favorites on tap. The also have great burgers! You can even stop by the gift shop on the other side of the building for some souvenirs or a growler to go!
Old Dog has the “hole in the wall” or “hometown bar” vibe. They have the tastiest (and greasiest) pulled pork sandwich and have live entertainment on certain nights too! Just a skip and a hop away from bells and hop at too!
The Beer Exchange is such a fun experience! Practice playing the stock market with beer! Load up on your favorites when stocks are low! Who can drink the most for the least amount spent?
A little walk down memory lane with old fashioned candy you can’t find anywhere else! One of our favorite date night ideas is to pick up a 6-pack of fun sodas to try together!
Yummy pub style food for a quick bite to eat, with awesome drinks! The nachos are an awesome option to share.
Take a walk around the campus in which we met! If you can find the flagpoles in the center of campus, you will find the first spot we ever met in person!
This zoo is only 30 minutes from the venue! We love spending summer days enjoying all the animals, riding the trolly to Africa, and even feeding the giraffes!!! Make sure to pack sunscreen, snacks, and your walking shoes!
Bring your quarters! One Well has some amazing beer (& cider) options as well as endless pinball machines!
This is Isla’s favorite place to go for a special treat! The best chicken sandwiches we have ever had paired with the scoop fries & roll-up sauce and you’ll be dreaming about it for weeks! Isla recommends the “Unicorn Sparkle” rolled ice cream. We love the dairy free ice cream options!
