Our Welcome Celebration will begin with cocktails, heavy appetizers, and time to mingle as we officially kick off our wedding weekend. During the evening, we will also share a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, a meaningful cultural ritual that honors family, love, and gratitude. Guests are warmly invited to observe and enjoy this special moment, which will be thoughtfully woven into the evening’s festivities. Following the ceremony, the celebration will continue with drinks, conversation, and music. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The Chinese Tea Ceremony

The Chinese Tea Ceremony is a traditional way to honor family and celebrate the joining of two families. During the ceremony, we will serve tea to our parents and elders as a way to say thank you for their love, guidance, and support. The tea symbolizes respect, harmony, and gratitude. You may notice red elements and decor. The color red represents joy, luck, and happiness in Chinese culture. In return for the tea, elders offer blessings, well wishes, and sometimes red envelopes and other gifts, meant to bring good fortune and a happy future.
