How should I dress?

Answer

The wedding will take place in Florida, in June, so it will most likely be very warm outside. Wear something dressy that you feel comfortable in!

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Again, it will be June. In Florida. All events pertaining to the wedding will take place indoors where you can enjoy the wonderful gift of air conditioning.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Gabriel and Jess would love to have your kids at the ceremony! Please bring them if that is feasible for you. However, due to limited space at the reception, we kindly ask that only the guests named on the invitation attend that portion of the evening. That being said, please feel free to bring your baby if you so choose! We know how difficult it can be to leave those little ones!

How does an open ceremony work?

Answer

Though our reception space is limited, we would love to have many people join us at our ceremony. Specifically, Jessica would love to invite all her current and former students from Trinity Christian Academy to celebrate with her and Gabriel as they begin their marriage. Jessica loves being a teacher, and would love nothing more than to see her students in the audience at her wedding. Grace Community Church has graciously allowed us to open the space to anyone who would like to attend. If you were invited through the open invitation at GCC, if you are a student of Miss Keck and received an invitation from her, or if you received a digital invitation, we invite you to join us at the celebration of our ceremony. There is no RSVP for the ceremony.

Am I invited to the reception?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at our reception venue (and the limited capacity of our budget), we could not invite a large number of people to our reception. If you received a paper invitation and have an RSVP option on our website, we would love to have you at the reception! If you received the open invitation from Grace Community Church, or a digital invite, that invitation is limited to the ceremony. We have no desire to exclude any friends or fellow church members, and would love to see you at our ceremony!

Should I use my cell phone to record photo and video of the ceremony?

Answer

While Jess and Gabriel appreciate your desire to record their special day, they have actually paid a not-so-insignificant amount of money to hire professionals to do just that. These professionals will ensure that all key moments are captured for posterity. Please sit back, relax, and keep all hands and feet away from your cell phone until the ceremony has come to a complete stop.

When can I get a photo with the bride and groom?

Answer

Immediately following the ceremony, Gabriel and Jessica will have a receiving line at Grace Community Church. Our photographer will be there to take a picture of each guest with Gabriel and Jess so that we can remember who was there on our special day! Make sure you sign the guest book as well so we can add your picture to it once we get our photos back from our photographer :)
