We met in 7th grade geography class with Mr. Rina's, or that's when Gabe told me we first met anyways ;). Just kidding. I sat a row ahead behind him - he remembers my braces, I remember he always wore a black under armor sweatshirt (like every day). In high school we had a few classes together and that's where our relationship started kindling. I'd usually tease him on how he never matched in class... until one day, he did. hehe apparently I am easily impressed, because I guess it just slowly progressed from there!

Gabe & I went to Prom together junior year of high school! After the dance, on April 12th, 2015, after months of "talking", he finally got the courage and asked me to be his girlfriend. I obvi said yes, but precisely, my response was "I'd love to."

I am going to give Gabe all the credit on this one -he did so well! The night before we were camping inside West Glacier National Park. We woke up early and hiked to Avalanche lake (which was gorgeous), had a picnic at Lake McDonald (I still cant get over how pretty those rocks are Gabe ;), did a few touristy things, got some huckleberry ice-cream, and checked into the KOA (which was LUXURY), went swimming, got cute and had a steak dinner, attempted to start a fire for like 2 hrs. (in our defense, the wood had to have been wet) -when he told me he had a surprise for me. I closed my eyes and when I opened them, he handed me a book that had letters in it with different topics that he wrote in. The first one was "When We First Met", then "You Are Remarkable Because", "I Knew You Were The One When" (one of my favorites), "I Promise To You" (which he left blank, so nothing. lol it was a comical relief for sure), "I Wish Us a Future Full of", and then last one was... "I Never Want To Forget This". In which he wrote, "This moment... when I ask you...." "Paige (I sorta forgot what he all said, oops!) will you marry me?" and just like I did when he asked me to be his girlfriend I said, "Yes! I would love to."
