You might have already heard but Morgan & Gabe are getting married! Come join us for a memorable afternoon ceremony and evening of dinner, drinks, and DANCING! The wedding will take place in the beautiful Taper Courtyard at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles. Let's do this!
In December 2019, Gabe saw an Instagram story of Morgan dancing around her hotel room to “Capsize” by FRENSHIP. Gabe took it upon himself to comment and reached out to our mutual friend (shout out to Christina!) in hopes of getting set up. A few text exchanges later, we met on a blind date at Taste on Melrose (RIP), and both felt an instant spark! Morgan loved Gabe’s curiosity to learn and ability get sh*t done. For instance, one time he looked up “how to build a guitar” and then built one. Gabe was won over by Morgan’s endlessly enthusiastic personality, wide smile, and her boss babe mindset. Not knowing how the rest of the year would unfold, we regularly saw each other... We went to a Grateful Dead tribute concert, dancing downtown with Morgan's best friends, one of those interactive pop-up museums (we love activities) and a few other dates that confirmed this was something special. You all know what happens next. In March 2020, we started quarantining together, and Gabe officially moved into Morgan's place in Weho in August. Since then, we bought a house in Studio City where we love to host and entertain with our dog-child Mowgli. We love our life together, and look forward to what the future has in store for us!
It all began with surprises told in the form of a written poem. Gabe planned a surprise weekend getaway to Palm Springs, a place we loved visiting over the pandemic. We woke up early in LA, and headed to Moortens Botanical Garden, where he proposed among the cacti! Afterward, we went for celebratory margaritas at Tac/Quila, and Gabe surprised Morgan AGAIN... two of her closest friends were waiting for us at the Airbnb for a mini engagement party! It was an unforgettable weekend, and the dessert will always have a special place in our hearts. 🌵
