gabe and I actually first talked to each other in 2014 when we played each other in trivia crack (hahah). anyways we would message back and forth for fun. then in january 2015 i messaged him on facebook because i thought he was cute. however, gabe did not respond to me until JUNE. i remember the night he messaged me back and asked for my number, i was on cloud 9 :) we started dating that summer and he started going to my high school that fall. but you know how high school relationships can be...so after a while we went our seperate ways. then gabe left on his mission to Canada, and I finished my senior year then left on my mission to Minnesota. when i got home gabe was still on his mission and started emailing me. i honestly never thought we would be more then friends when he got home, but i found myself waiting for mondays to come around because those were the days I got emails from him. and I found myself even counting down the days until he got home. he got home november 1st, i went to his homecoming, we hung out, but i had to go back to school in provo. when i came home for thanksgiving we were going to go on a date on the 23, but he wanted to hang out the day before. so we drove around in Lund (because what else do you do?) and stopped on top of the L hill. it was perfect, and i totally thought he was going to kiss me...but instead he TOTALLY friendzoned me. right there. but luckily for me the next night after our date he told me he was just nervous and asked me to be his girlfriend! our relationship was long distance for about 3 months while he went to school in rexburg and i was at school in provo. we spent a lot of time facetiming, calling, and taking short weekend trips to see eachother, but it was all so worth it. gabe proposed on february 29th at tibble fork reservoir and i couldn't be happier :)
