If you're looking for an easy hike offering beautiful views of the valley, the Roxy Ann Peak loop is the perfect choice! You can choose to hike up to the very top of the mountain, or you can walk the loop, which is mostly flat and still offers great views the whole time. It's about a 2.5 mile loop. To get to the hike, take McAndrews Road east past Foothill Road for an additional 2.5 miles. Turn left at Roxy Ann Road (you will see the Prescott Park sign) and follow the road approximately 2.7 miles to the main parking area. The main trailhead is just east of the main parking area and is marked by signage.
The Lower Table Rock Trail is a great, iconic Southern Oregon hike. You may have noticed the Table Rocks as a landmark while traveling I-5. It's an easy-moderate 3.5 mile out and back hike that offers some great, panoramic views of the valley!
The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is a Tony-Award winning theater, and is among the oldest and largest professional non-profit theatres in the nation! The Allen Elizabethan Theater is a beautiful outdoor theater, and was modeled after The Globe Theater in London. Ashland is also a great place to spend the day in. It's where Gabe went to college (Go Raiders!), and has a ton of great restaurants, coffee shops, and a gorgeous park (Lithia Park), where we took our engagement photos!
The Oregon Caves are located outside of Grants Pass, and are a super cool and unique experience. From their website: "Eons of acidic water seeping into marble rock created and decorated the wondrous “Marble Halls of Oregon.”
