How to get to Belize?

Wow, we're so glad you have asked that question! Most international flights fly into Belize City (BZE), in the north of the country. Once you arrival there, you will board a smaller plane to travel south to Punta Gorda (PND) where Copal Tree Lodge is located. The resort will pick you up from the Punta Gorda airport so you don't have to worry about that.

What do you mean a smaller plane?

Answer

Tropic Air operates multiple flights every day all around Belize and the wider region on small planes that seat ~16 people. Booking flights through them directly is easy. You can also book this flight through the Copal Tree Lodge website. The flight will take off directly from BZE, so you don't even have to leave the airport to change flights. It's a short, beautiful flight and is a great way to see the lush coast of Belize from the air. The resort recommends you give yourself at least 90 minutes from landing in BZE and boarding your Tropic Air flight. The last flight to Punta Gorda is usually around 5pm.

What does the return trip look like?

Answer

Copal Tree Lodge will provide transport to the Punta Gorda airport just like upon arrival. When you book your flights, just select round trip for Tropic Air and they'll get you back to BZE in time for your flight home. (Or wherever your heart desires, belize in your dreams)
