Cloth sneakers and icy Georgia trails aren't the best pair, but that was how my morning began the day Gabe asked me to spend forever with him. Some sweet friends and I decided to take a girls trip to Georgia and one of our adventures was to hike Blood mountain to catch the sunrise. With three tiny flashlights, complete darkness and a backpack full of sandwiches, we carefully and quickly started up the mountain. I sang some hymns just loud enough to scare the bears away and thought, I might die today and I'm pretty sure Gabe is going to propose soon. Little did I know he was actually driving in Christmas eve eve traffic to pop the question! Needless to say we survived and witnessed a glorious sunrise, shared a few more adventures and got ready to head to one of the most beautiful vineyards for sunset. When we arrived Allison and Britt went ahead of us to "grab a table" while I helped Sierra with her make up which looked perfectly fine! When we got out of the car I noticed a cute set up in the distance and a beard that could belong to only one man. I quickly realized what was happening and with a dropped jaw hugged my best friend who I could not believe was standing in front of me in a whole other state! He got on one knee, said "Jireh Lugones" and with an adorable smile opened the box to the most elegant ring he so carefully designed.
