One of the best views of Rio! Take the tram up or hike Morro da Urca, then enjoy the cute Praia Vermelha at the bottom.
Christ the Redeemer
It's Iconic! Take the scenic Corcovado train from Cosme Velho — it’s the easiest and best way to reach Christ the Redeemer.
Aterro do Flamengo
Aterro is a beautiful park stretching along the waterfront between downtown and the South Zone. It has a unique view of the Sugarloaf and is a perfect place for running/walking/biking. Flamengo beach is also more and more a favorite of ours, less touristy than the beaches in the South Zone and still incredibly beautiful.
Hike Pedra Bonita
An amazing and safe hike. Only 45 minutes or so to the top, and an almost 360 view of Rio.
Parque das Ruinas
This is Isa's favorite place in Santa Teresa. Route to Largo dos Guimarães and then walk down the road towards the Park, stopping by the cute shops on the way. Go up to the last floor of the house and enjoy an epic view.
