Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our suggesting wedding attire is black tie, our guests that are men should be in a tuxedo or dark suit, and the ladies should wear an evening gown or formal dress.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in Lima Peru in May is characterized by dry days, virtually no rain, and daily temperatures of 20°C (67°F) with nights about 67ᵒF *(17ᵒC). Please bring a light sweater for night time. In case you travel to Cusco and Machu Picchu: The weather in Cusco and Machu Picchu Peru in May averages 66ᵒF (19ᵒC) with generally dry days, and fantastic greenery, so the first really good month of the year to travel here. It is the beginning of winter but also the dry season and less crowded with tourists than the months of July and August. The nights are chilly at about 37ᵒF (3ᵒC).

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Ceremony and The Reception will take place in the same Venue. The ceremony will be starting at 4 pm, we invite you to arrive at 3:30 pm. Please note Casa Ficus (Pachacamac) is an hour away from Lima. Shuttles will be provided at Recommended Hotels.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place in a covered outdoor area. There will be some grassy areas, keep that in mind if you are wearing heels.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and Immediate Family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area for a Marinera Show, where we will be serving o'dourves and beverages.”

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. If you are traveling with your little ones, we may able to arrange a sitter at one of the recommended hotels. Please let us know and contact us for details.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from the recommended hotels. Busses will be picking up guest at 2:20 - 2: 30 pm and bust will be leaving at 230pm sharp

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #LoveAtFirstMiranda so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
