Bellingham International Airport (BLI)
This is the closets airport. It is about 45 minutes from Anacortes. It is a smaller airport so the odds of getting a direct flight are not in your favor. This is way less crowded and less hectic than SEA.

Paine Field Airport (PAE)
Located in Everett, WA. This is closer than SeaTac but there are fewer flights in and out. You are not likely to find a direct flight.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
This is your best chance at having a direct flight. It's a big airport and you will most likely take an underground train from the main airport campus out to your terminal.

If you don't plan to have a rental car this is the shuttle that runs from SeaTac to Anacortes.
Travel Note
Washington State Ferry
This is another transportation option for getting from SEA or PAE to Anacortes. Instead of driving on the mainland, the ferry can be taken from Mukilteo to Clinton. Clinton is located on the south tip of Whidbey Island (the island directly south of Anacortes). Once in Clinton, Highway 20 will take you up Whidbey Island and across Deception Pass bridge into Anacortes. This may be a good option if you don't want to drive 2 hours straight. This does take more time in total but you get to experience the iconic WA ferry! If there are any questions please feel free to ask.
