Maid of Honor
Hannah is my younger sister, soror, and friend. She is probably the most responsible person out of all of my siblings and that is why she is my maid of honor! Hannah is dependable, organized, and an all-around great sister with whom I can vent or celebrate with. Growing up with Hannah was really fun she was the smallest kid with the most prominent personality. I remember when I was in high school, I visited her elementary to check on some kids that were bothering her. I didn't need to even visit because I ran into Hannah in the hallway and she was getting the girls together! I laughed so hard because they were scared of her little self. We became really close in college and as the big sis, I've always been the bossy one who is the liaison between all the siblings and our parents but Hannah as the middle child who makes sure we all stick together. Thank you Hannah for sticking beside me on this journey down the aisle!
Bridesmaid
Mikaiya is my youngest sister, soror, and future lawyer. She has always loved to argue with me although I am always right yet, only one of us will have a JD soon and at that point, she can be the one who is always right in the courtroom. Mikaiya was the cutest and sweetest baby growing up, I remember being so happy when she was born. When she was in high school I was always so proud of her independence and individuality. While I did things like student government or pageants, Mikaiya was successfully playing basketball and running track. She has never been anybody but herself. She likes to say she has surpassed me in style and fashion, and this may be true so girl, make sure I look like I'm in a wedding magazine on May 6th! lol Anyway, I love how as adults we spend time having cocktails and going to brunch on sister dates, it is always great bonding time. Thank you Mikaiya for helping me make this day so special!
Best Man
The funny thing about Quis is I heard about him way before I met him but that’s a story for another day. When we first met, I never thought we’d be as close as we are but that lets you know the kind of relationship we have. Quis and I talk all the time about anything and everything. It is either he’s got me laughing about things we probably shouldn’t find funny or unpacking a deeper mean to a story/event. He’s been one of the most consistent people in my life. He is the glue to our line and is a connector in our chapter. He is constantly keeping in touch with everyone, it amazes me how he finds the time. Quis could be everyone's best man but thank you for being the best man at my wedding.
Groomsman
The thing about my boy A is to know him is to love him. He is an entertaining conversationalist and will definitely get the heated discussions going at any event. Alex is one of the most authentic people I’ve ever met. Something people have to respect about him is he knows who he is and he stands on his what he believes. Many would be surprised to know Alex and I have a lot in common. In addition to both being the middle child and only boys amongst our siblings we share similar upbringings, ambitions, and outlooks on life. When we first met in college, I never knew he and his family would embrace me as much as they do. His family is my family and visa versa. I appreciate Alex for joining me on this special day in my life.
