We met playing pickleball. The relationship started off by seeing and talking to each other everyday at pickleball, which shortly turned into doing other things together. A few months after meeting each other, Mitchell asked Gabriella to be his girlfriend while they were in Pennsylvania for their first pickleball tournament that they were playing in together.

The proposal started with a treasure hunt. There were multiple clues around Gabby’s house. The last clue stated for Gabby to get ready in a few hours for her to be picked up by her friend for the final mystery. Gabby was taken to Pickleball Island where Gabby and Mitch play pickleball. When Gabby walked in, the lights were off and their favorite song was playing. There was a path with rose petals and candles to get to where Mitch was waiting upstairs on his knee. After Gabby said yes, the lights were turned on and Mitch walked Gabby over to the balcony where they looked down to see all their friends there to celebrate with them.
