It all started in sophomore year gym class at Montville Township High School, back in 2014. Gabby had known of Matt for years, but this was the first time he actually noticed her. Matt developed a huge crush on her and had to figure out a way to get her attention. So, naturally — in true high school boy fashion — he spiked a volleyball right at her face. Gabby was not impressed, but Matt felt terrible and apologized again... and again... and again. Eventually, Matt started to grow on her, and soon they were chatting every day in gym class. One day, Matt finally convinced Gabby to hang out outside of school — by inviting himself over to her house on a Saturday night. They spent hours talking, completely captivated by each other. Gabby just knew Matt was different — someone really special. From that moment on, they were totally love-struck. They spent the rest of high school together and even went to college side-by-side at Misericordia University. Gabby was recruited for soccer, and Matt got the call for baseball — a perfect match both on and off the field! Luckily, they only had to survive three years of long distance while Gabby finished PT school at Misericordia. On September 2, 2024, Matt proposed to Gabby in Ravello, Italy overlooking the breathtaking Amalfi coast. Calling it the most romantic and sensational proposal would be an understatement — it was truly one of their best moments together. Over the past 11 years, Matt and Gabby have made incredible memories and lifelong friendships. They feel so lucky to have found this kind of love so young — growing up together and now looking forward to growing old side by side. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you!
