Come ride the rollercoaster that is Mark and Gabby’s love story. Once an upon a time, a girl named Gabby walked into her 9th grade ceramics class. She was excited to be in high school and learning the new opportunities that awaited her. She found a seat next to her then neighbor and patiently waited for the class to begin. Mark, a junior, bored out of his mind walked into this same ceramic class and sat on the opposite side of Gabby's neighbor. Little did they know that was just the beginning of the rest of their lives. That year encompassed laughter, drama, love, and irritation throughout, but a las the two love birds fell out of touch with one another. Each finding new groups and hobbies to spend their time. Fast forward 4 years the two reconnect when Mark sent Gabby a friend request on Facebook. She eagerly sent him a message and then they began rekindling their fire. Little did they know this would be start of forever. At the time they seemed to live worlds away, he resided in Germantown and she lived in upstate New York. They spoke for almost a year before he invited Gabby to join him at his friend Cyrus's UMD Halloween party. After she received permission from her parents to be out until midnight, she prepared for their date. Gabby was struck by the skull painted, Ford F-350 that he picked her up in. The rest of the evening they stayed up, reminiscing about the past until 3AM. Once he dropped her off at home, they both came to the realization that they couldn’t stop thinking of one other. They longed for the next time they could see each other again. A couple of weeks passed and Mark finds out Gabby would be coming to Maryland for Christmas. They eagerly made plans to reunite again. That week he introduced her to his parents and Gabby realized she had known his sister in high school. After that week Mark's mother discussed if he would be inviting Gabby to his older sister's wedding. He took that opportunity to invite her so he could spend more time with her. A few weeks passed and the wedding arrived. Mark had become nervous to see Gabby, but he decided it would be a romantic time to ask Gabby to be his girlfriend. He had chosen to ask her under a brisk, beautiful, starry night surrounded by snow. Ironically, before he asked Gabby his anticipated question, Gabby had caught his sister's flower bouquet, manifesting that she would be her future sister-in-law. Four days after the wedding Gabby decided to pack up her life to pursue love. She gathered everything in her car, transferred her job, and anxiously began her move back to Maryland so she could be close to Mark. That was the history of their little rollercoaster ride. ❤️
