We’re getting married!

We first met when we attended the same tryout for a softball team in July 2018. We started talking in November when Maddie posted a picture of her family's dog Beau and I responded to it. We started talking more and more after that until it became an everyday thing and we both knew that there was something there. I felt like I could trust her and tell her anything and everything. Our feelings started to show more and more and finally, a friend/ teammate of us convinced me to tell her how I felt. I expressed my feelings to Maddie and then she started to doubt herself and almost convinced herself to not get into a relationship because she was moving to Missouri for college at the end of that summer, even though all she wanted was to be with me She finally decided in April 2019 to pursue us and we went on a few dates that month and she asked me to be her girlfriend on April, 21. Thank god she decided to pursue our relationship because we are both the happiest we have ever been and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else with anyone else.

On the night of our anniversary I went to the softball fields where me and gabby met. I had a couple friends there to help me. The idea was to go to where we met at the softball fields, put candles around the baselines and flower petals all over. I had it all planned and unfortunately it was a little windy that night so the tealights were not wanting to stay lit, luckily I had 2 awesome people there to help keep them lit while I rushed home to get Gabby. I blindfolded her and walked her to the pitchers mound that was candles in the shape of a heart. I told her to take off the blindfold and got down on one knee and asked her to marry me and obviously she said yes.
