Flights to and from Rome can be booked from nearly every International airport in the US! Because of it's size, Rome has a ton of flights often at fairly reasonable prices. Depending on where you are traveling from (say, the east coast), you may be able to fly direct in to Rome! Keep in mind - you will need to travel from Rome to Sorrento, which can be done by several different transportation options. Plan for at least 3 hours of travel time to Sorrento. Travel from Rome to Sorrento: -Train to Naples, transfer trains for a train from Naples to Sorrento: roughly three and a half hours -Train to Naples, then ferry/car/bus/taxi from Naples to Sorrento: roughly three and a half hours -Bus from Rome to Sorrento: roughly 4 hours -Car/taxi from Rome to Sorrento: roughly three hours IMPORTANT INFO FOR TRAIN NAPLES TO SORRENTO: The train from Naples to Sorrento is located underneath the main train station in Naples (Napoli Centrale). Follow the signs for Circumvesuviana train - Sorrento is the last stop!

Flight

USA > Naples

Flying into Naples is also a great option, putting you further south and closer to Sorrento than if you were to fly into Rome. Once in Naples, you are roughly an hour from Sorrento. Taking the train is probably the easiest, unless you plan to rent a car or have a service car pick you up. There are some direct flight options into Naples (Newark -> Naples, for example) but depending on where you are coming from, you may need to plan for a connector. Travel from Naples to Sorrento: -Train (Local or Express): roughly one hour & 15 minutes -Ferry: roughly 40 minutes -Car/bus/taxi: roughly one hour IMPORTANT INFO FOR TRAIN NAPLES TO SORRENTO: The train from Naples to Sorrento is located underneath the main train station in Naples (Napoli Centrale). House Or Rental

Airbnb or VRBO

Both AirBnB and VRBO rentals are available in Sorrento. We recommend staying as close to the city center (Piazza Tasso) as possible to take advantage of Sorrento's walkability. The further away from Piazza Tasso (most likely up into the hills), the harder it may be to walk from place to place. Book directly through either app!
