Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Guests should plan to arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony starts to get seated.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

The ceremony is in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden. The reception is inside of the New Orleans Museum of Art “Great Hall”. They are located next to each other within City Park. Parking should be plentiful. There is a long driveway leading up to the museum where you can park. Additionally, a large parking lot is located behind the sculpture garden, steps away from the exact ceremony location. There will be signs pointing you to our exact ceremony location when you arrive, so you should be able to find it pretty easily!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. Guys - Tuxedo or dark matching suit. Gals - Formal dress of any length. Since it is an outdoor ceremony, we recommend that ladies opt for block, platform, or wedge heels as opposed to stilettos. Dressy flats are perfect as well!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and last about 30 minutes. We will second line from the ceremony to the steps of the museum for some pre-reception cocktails! The reception will be indoors inside of the museum’s Great Hall.

Answer

Answer

All wedding day events are adults-only.
