In August 2020, we matched on Tinder. It wasn't until the end of October, I (Gabby) decided to message Anna. After talking for a few days, I decided to move quick and ask her out on a date. On November 8, 2020, she was traveling back to Rhode Island from Vermont I convinced Anna to make a pitstop in Worcester to meet me at Greater Good Brewing. She had a GG Vibes and fried chicken sandwich and I drank multiple GG Galaxy Pulp Daddies and of course a grilled cheese. We talked about everything that day and we clicked immediately. Over the course of the next few months we built an unbreakable friendship that turned into so much more. From morning phone calls on our drive to work, to late night calls before bed. It wasn't until a ski trip up to Killington Vermont on April 3, 2021 I finally made the jump and asked Anna to be my girlfriend (on a hand written note saying check yes or no) Without hesitation, Anna checked yes. From there we made our long distance relationship work. I would travel to Rhode Island and she would come up to Worcester. We had so many different adventures, from going out on the boat, to going to WooSox games and we even took our first trip together to California in June 2021! I was told I had to wait AT LEAST a year of us dating to propose. Even though I knew she was the one I was going to marry from the start. On June 28, 2022 - one year, two months, three weeks and four days after we began dating - We hiked Killington Mountain together. At the peak, was a surprise she would never expect. Emily Dobson was hanging out in an Adirondack chair waiting for the perfect time to ask us "do you want me to take your picture?" Anna was shocked and stuck on repeat asking "what are you doing here?" Moments later, in the exact spot I asked her to be my girlfriend, I asked her to be my wife. Since then, Anna has recently become a Massachusetts resident and started a new job as a Nanny. I finally graduated Ultrasound school and started a new job. We also added to our loving zoo, we adopted the cutest, lumpiest senior dog named Indy. We recently went to Key West, we spend our winters on the mountain and summers on the boat! We can't wait to see what the future holds for us! And we're VERY excited to celebrate our incredible day with our friends and family!
