We want to take you back all the way to 2019. Jalyn was a student athlete at Arizona Christian University, while Gabby had just graduated from Long Beach City College. Gabby just so happened to know someone who knew Jalyn. From the moment they met, there was an instant connection. Jalyn noticed how confident she was and her boss mentality. She walked into any space owning who she is with drive and self-assurance. It's still something he admires to this day. Gabby first noticed how much of a gentleman Jalyn was. She never touched a door, and she never pulled out her own chair. He had paid her his full undivided attention, and she appreciated that. They started off getting to know each other for a couple of months before she flew out for his first football game of the season. The night before his first game, they went to dinner at some smoky KBBQ spot where he asked her to be his girlfriend. That started their long-distance relationship. He stayed in Arizona, where he finished being a student athlete at Arizona Christian University. Gabby was the loudest person at his graduation. Gabby worked full-time as an office manager and volunteered with a foundation near and dear to her heart. As they both were working on building their own independent lives, they made each other a priority. Lots of airline miles were accumulated, and gas money was not cheap, but they made it happen until 2023. Jalyn and Gabby had officially moved in together. They navigated living together while parenting their dog, Bruno. In May 2023, Jalyn got the opportunity to play professional football in Switzerland. After the longest four months of their lives, Jalyn came back to Long Beach, where he started his career at Nike. Gabby started a career at DSG and has been working her way up the management pole. They have been building a foundation of love, support, and acceptance for four years. That leads us to December 6th, where Jalyn planned a trip with Gabby's family to Big Bear. Little did she know, this wasn't just a family trip for fun but instead, a surprise engagement! After tears were shed, she said YES! With her whole family there to support her, she couldn't have been more surprised. Lots of planning has to be made before the big day but Jalyn and Gabby are ecstatic to be in their engagement era. They can't wait to celebrate with you!
