How We Met

05-29-2019

Before anyone says anything, yes I swiped right on my Nayib! I was scrolling on Tinder and I came across a handsome dark hair man with light eyes and a full beard. I thought in my head yes an Arab man! Little did I know, he's Cuban and that I found my best friend and the love of my life all because I swiped right on him. I was also intrigued when he told me he has a farm with goats, what girl doesn't like goats? The night before our first date my best friend and I went to his house to "see the goats" but all my girls know thats really to see if he was a weirdo and make sure he was legit. The next day we ended up going on the date, he took me to his favorite place which was the cheesecake factory and then we went to walk the beach. Ever since that night I knew I found a very special person, we talked for hours and hours about anything and everything and now he is my soon to be Husband.

The Proposal

12-11-2021

The moment I have always waited for happened on December 11th 2021! We always go up to Palm Coast to see our friends but this time felt different, if I am being honest that whole month felt different but in a great way. That day I went to get breakfast with one of my girlfriends and little did I know everyone back at the house was putting together how Nayib was going to propose. The Original plan was that we where going to have a "Christmas card" photoshoot by the light house during sunset. Of course I was not ready in time and we ended up just going to the nearest beach so we can at least catch the sunset. I knew something was up because my friend and her husband don't just get dressed up and have a random photoshoot for us. As we where driving in the car I kept looking at Nayibs pant pockets to see if there was a box sticking out and there wasn't, so that made me think it wasn't going to happen in that moment. We walked a few steps down and ended up drawing a huge heart in the sand and we wrote G+N in the middle of the heart. At this point I knew the time has come that I was being asked to marry the love of my life. My favorite song came on from Brett Eldredge and now I was standing at the tip of the heart and Nayib was on one knee behind me.
