Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the event as soon as possible. However the deadline is September 25th 2025. If we don’t receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as “no”. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party, or otherwise stated on invitation!

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have hotel blocks for guests?

Do I pay for drinks?

Answer

We have a batch cocktail and a keg of beer for free drinks, It is a full bar so feel free to order whatever you would like but know it is strictly card only! No cash!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Should we bring cash?

Answer

We will be raffling away a cooler filled with drinks, buy some tickets and get a chance to win! You can buy tickets with cash from our ushers!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a signature drink and beer available until it’s gone, and there is also a cash bar!

Is there parking for the event?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot located right on the grounds of the venue, unfortunately there is no overnight parking at the venue so we will be running a shuttle service to and from the Wyndham hotel, try to carpool if possible!

When does the shuttle run?

Answer

The shuttle will bring guests from the Americinn by Wyndham in Hutchinson to The Cottage from house from 2:30PM-3:15PM Shuttles back to the hotel after the reception will run from 9:00PM-11:30PM

When should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30 PM, so please arrive by 3:00 PM!

What do I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “Not Attending” so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

We will be supplying some alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.

Is the ceremony indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be indoors, but keep in mind it will be late October so bring proper attire for the weather.

Where is the smoking area?

Answer

There is only one smoking area on venue grounds, it is located at the fire pit with a sign posted.
