Officiant
When Gabbi first started working at Starbucks, she and Allie were too shy to talk to each other. If it weren't for Kaleb carrying the conversation during many a three-person shift, Gabbi and Allie never would have never found a connection. A loud and boisterous trio, Kaleb, Allie and Gabbi are always getting into some mischief. Whether it's Allie and Kaleb's twisted sense of humor, or Gabbi and Kaleb's philosophical debates, there is never a dull moment. When we first got together, Kaleb was the first person we told. He has been our biggest supporter and has been by our sides the whole journey. We even declared it from the very beginning-- there is no better person to officiate our ceremony than Kaleb.
Flower Girl
Gabbi started watching Gala when she was two years old. Gala and her mom, Abbey, quickly became a part of the family. When Gala first met Allie she loved her right away. In fact, she chose to sit next to Allie instead of Gabbi at dinner and the two colluded to call Gabbi a "poopy". Gala knows how to bring the energy and steal the show as all pink sparkly unicorn princesses do. We're hoping she brings that priceless diva energy down the aisle to make you smile!
Man of Honor
In everything besides blood, Seth is a brother to Allie. They grew up together and have stayed friends through elementary, middle and high school, not to mention they bear a striking resemblance. Even as times change, Seth is a constant comforting presence. He is one of the kindest and most loyal friends and anyone would be lucky to know him. As someone who has been there through thick and thin, Seth was a natural choice for Man of Honor. We are so lucky to have him here on our special day.
Maid of Honor
Shanem is easily Gabbi's number one confidante, co-conspirator and partner in crime. As we fell in love, Shanem was always the first to have every single detail and she provided countless pieces of advice to guide us the right direction. Gabbi can always count on her for a gossip sesh, a heartfelt word or a playful GIF (that is if the discussion is on WhatsApp exclusively of course). Shanem is a day one, and has also been forced to become a wedding planning extraordinaire (since wayyyyy before a wedding was even on the horizon). We couldn't do this without her!
Bridesman
Brady and Allie met in high school and bonded over their shared love of music, video games and taste in media. They have stayed in touch even though there has been over 2000 miles between them for over 4 years, meeting up to see countless concerts from the bands they both love. We are psyched to have him back on the East Coast for more fun adventures, and are glad he'll be back in Vermont for the first time since high school to help us celebrate.
Bridesmaid
Sarah (affectionately known by anyone Gabbi has introduced her to as Slaide) and Gabbi met in the UVM Secondary Education program where they struggled through together (pretty sure it's a trauma bond). When Gabbi realized, she was starting to develop feelings for a coworker, Sarah was the first person to know since she always offers a nonjudgemental ear. She has been present at some of the weirdest, most random hangouts and events but she is always game. The energy she brings is unmatched, and everyone she's been introduced to begs for her to be invited to everything thereafter (chill guys, she's literally ALWAYS invited). We hope she get's to the wedding on time! ;)
Bridesmaid
Formerly Gabbi's manager, turned millennial mentor, turned roommate, turned Allie's colleague, turned friend of the couple, Micayla is always there for a car meet, coffee date or just some sage advice. We have often joked that Micayla was the original blonde, nerdy, video game and anime loving, car girl in Gabbi's life. However, she is definitely straight (despite all of our best efforts). But it's for this exact reason that she has made a natural friend for the both of us after meeting Allie, too!
Bridesmaid
Gabbi and Hope met in high school in a Facebook forum for people studying abroad. Though they were the ONLY people under 50 in that Facebook group, they hit it off and stayed friends throughout their time in France and ever since. Although we are always cursed to be on opposite sides of the country, we use it as an excuse to travel to new places and meet up (the very thing that brought us together in the first place). In a tearful "will this blow up in my face or will this be the best thing that's ever happened" phone call Hope urged Gabbi to follow her heart in her pursuit of Allie. All three of us met most recently in New Orleans where we had a blast despite torrential rains and a gallbladder mishap. It's such an honor for Hope to make the cross-country trek to be in our wedding!
Bridesmaid
Zoë was once a favorite coworker turned most quiet but deadly game night assassin. Word to the wise, do not go up against her in Catan. We love her quiet delivery of the most outlandish jokes. While we’ve only started hanging out more recently, she is one of our most loyal Saturday Night attendees. If you thought Allison was the only tall, blonde, BMW fanatic in the mix, well, you’d be sorely mistaken. We’re so happy to have Zoë with us to celebrate!
Bridesman
Initially, we saw Daniel as Zoë’s sweet and shy partner. However, the more time we spent with him the more we got to know his wild personality. He is easily the most funny person in our group chat, and we love the energy he brings. If he’s not scheming to overthrow you with lies and propaganda as Zoë’s accomplice in Catan, he can be found playing video games, reading or sharing reptile facts. Hopefully we can keep him away from the snakes long enough for the ceremony!
