Question

Where is the ceremony & reception? What time should I arrive?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Donovan Manor. Please arrive no later than 4:45 PM as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5 PM. Address: 5733 Hilltop Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

What should I wear?

Answer

We request our guests wear formal attire. We'd love to see ladies in floor length dresses, tea length dresses, or formal pant suits. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or dress pants with a sport coat.

Will events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on grass, so ladies may want to avoid stiletto heels so they don't sink! The reception will be held indoors.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Guests are welcome to park at Donovan Manor. Vehicles may be left overnight if needed but must be picked up by 10 AM Sunday morning.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we have chosen for our wedding to be an adults-only occasion.

Where should I stay if I need overnight accommodations?

Answer

A room block for our guests is reserved at the AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Friday Welcome Party location and a 25 minute drive from the wedding day venue. This hotel is also where the shuttle will pick up & drop off! Reservations must be made by September 11 in order to secure the discounted rate via our room block. Reservations can be made through: 1) The link on the "Accommodations" tab of this site, OR 2) Calling 919-803-5100 and requesting to book for the "Daly-Yates Wedding" Hotel Address: 9 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603 Hotel Check-in: 3 PM Hotel Check-out: Noon

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will take guests from the AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown to Donovan Manor and back to the hotel at the end of the night. Anyone who would like to take advantage of the shuttle is welcome to do so! If you or your family are not staying at the AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown & would like to take the shuttle, we recommend either ridesharing (Lyft, Uber) to the AC Hotel or parking at the closest parking deck (501 W Jones St.) and walking 5 minutes to the AC Hotel ahead of the 4:20 PM shuttle departure. To ensure we can accommodate everyone, please indicate whether you would like to take the shuttle on your RSVP. Shuttle Schedule: - 4:10 PM: Pickup at AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown - 4:35 PM: Drop Off at Donovan Manor ahead of 5 PM ceremony start - 11:00 PM: Pickup at Donovan Manor immediately following reception end - 11:25 PM: Return to AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown

Is Uber or Lyft available around Donovan Manor?

Answer

Ubers or Lyfts may not be the most convenient option for the wedding day. If you choose not to drive and park at Donovan Manor, we recommend taking advantage of the complimentary shuttle.
