Our wedding reception will be outdoors under a tent at the same location our ceremony takes place. With our date being in August, we could be dealing with hot temperatures. The area we have chosen to set up our tent has good shade, and there will be fans in & around the venue to help keep you cool. We are confident there will be plenty of cold beverages to keep you hydrated! The bathrooms are inside the parish hall, so if you need to cool off, we do have an outlet to do so. The bottom line is, we will be outdoors for the greater portion of our celebration and we want our guests to be prepared. We are praying for a beautiful summer day!

The reception space will not be available until 4 p.m. Between the ceremony and cocktail hour, we invite you to check out some local spots, some of which are located less than ten minutes from the venue. Take a look at the "Things to Do" page on our website. The bride and groom will be present for the cocktail hour, so come back to have a drink with us!
Yes! See the travel tab on this website. We have blocked rooms at 2 hotels in Effingham, which is about a 15 minute drive from the venue. There are cutoff dates to book the rooms, so take a look at that page and get your room booked!
Due to limited space and reserved seating for dinner, we can only accommodate the guests that have been formally invited to our wedding. Feel free to contact Kayla if you have any questions.

Yes, drinks are on us! But make sure to bring some extra cash to take care of our bartenders. Please note that Ubers + Lyfts are NOT available in our area.
