Question

What date should I RSVP by?

By April 30th because in May we need to send the confirmations and food menu/seating chart to the wedding planner and venue. Nina - Maid of Honor will contact guests to RSVP last week of April as a last chance to remind them whether or not to RSVP.

Answer

Ceremony and reception will be at the same location - Posting Trade Red Rocks: 17900 Trading Post Rd, Morrison, CO 80465-9201 ENTRANCE 02 *It is not in the same place where the concerts take place - Amphitheater. Red Rocks has a wedding venue called TRADING POST with easy access through entrance 02.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Many people will spend a few days in Colorado exploring the most beautiful things this state has to offer so we prefer not to make hotel reservations, but we encourage our guests to stay in the downtown, Cherry Creek or Englewood area - easy access to the wedding schedule and with plenty of Air Bnb options as well.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s) for the wedding and/or prewedding events?

Answer

No, and please be careful with alcohool and driving! Our wedding will be open bar and access to the venue is with narrow and high roads! Uber is very common in the area and in the app there is the option to schedule the ride.

Question

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

SEMI FORMAL ATTIRE - We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers Our wedding will be taking place outdoors in the grass. We suggest sundresses and sandals for women and button-down shirts and pants for men. Please, no athletic wear. https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364

Question

What is Festa Junina? (Traditional Brazilian Party - Saturday)

Answer

Festa Junina, or the June Festival, is a Catholic tradition that was introduced to Brazil during the country’s colonization by Portugal. Its events are based on the European Midsummer festivities, which celebrate the harvest and the saints, mainly Saint Anthony, Saint John the Baptist, and Saint Peter. Despite its religious origins, the emphasis of Festa Junina is on creating a large social gathering of dancing, drinking, and eating, especially in larger cities. Because this festival celebrates the harvest, events can take on a rural theme, as do the costumes, which resemble a typical countryside style and conjure images of farmers. Dancing is also an important part of the celebrations and is centered around the quadrilha, a typical Festa Junina dance accompanied by a music genre called forró. https://www.thebrasilians.com/festa-junina-brazils-vibrant-celebration-of-culture-and-tradition/
