Our ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. Our cocktail hour will start directly after and last until approximately 6:30 pm. Then, the night will continue with dinner, drinking, dancing, darts, and more. There is no official end time :)

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Weather dependent, we are hoping to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors and our reception mainly indoors. Even though our wedding is at the end of May, temperatures in Door County, WI can be slightly chilly, so please dress appropriately.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Overall, we just want everyone to feel and look their best! Here are some tips: Men: jeans are frowned upon, and ties are optional Women: spring/ summer fun-colored cocktail dresses, skirts, and dress pants are all encouraged REMINDER: Our ceremony is outside and with Wisconsin, you never know. It could be snowing and cloudy on May 30th or sunny and 70 degrees. Please check the weather and dress accordingly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend everyone stay onsite at the Lodge. There are around 60 rooms available. To do so, please call the hotel's # listed in the "travel" section of our website. If the Lodge doesn't suit your accommodation needs, Sturgeon Bay has many other hotel and Airbnbs available.

Should we bring or send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! :) If you do buy us a gift off our registry, please send it to our home in Colorado. However, we will have a wedding card collection box at our reception.
