A great place for outdoor exploration! A man-made class 5 whitewater rapid river. Check out their walking trails amongst other activities.

The absolute BEST hamburgers in town! A casual, fun environment & they offer full bar service.
Belmont Main Street
A quant, traditional "small town" downtown! Wonder the streets, stroll through the park, enjoy restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. It's one of our favorite places!
William Henry The Spa
A favorite place of ours for relaxation! A great local spa with all types of pampering and services. Enjoy their relaxations room and sauna as well!

Originally home to Charlotte's largest textile mill, today the property hosts an expansive food hall! One of our favorite stops to go for a casual date-night. Enjoy a strolling meal and enjoy the patio! A must-try in the Charlotte area!

A 76 acre multi use development in one of Charlotte's hottest neighborhoods! It's worth the short drive! They have wonderful restaurants, outdoor patios, outdoor games & activation stations, art exhibits, shopping and more.

Webb Custom Kitchen
One of our very favorite places to eat! The restaurant is in an old, preserved movie theater. They show movies on the screen in the background while you dine. The food is delicious. The duck cigars and the cheesecake are a must! Also, if making a reservation, ask for preferred seating upstairs, those tables have the best view.
Pita Wheel
A great spot for lunch and another one of our favorites! Their pittas are yummy and so is the Greek salad for a lighter bite. They have three locations, Belmont (address listed above), Gastonia, Dallas.
Mayworth's Public House
Our local watering hole in our little town of Cramerton. Great for lunch or dinner and wide variety of food options, cocktails, and beer.
Tony's Ice Cream
A true local favorite. My grandparents used to go on dates here! Not in the best part of town but the best ice-cream and milkshakes! Our favorites are the chocolate or strawberry milk shakes. Tell them "No lid" and you'll get an extra scoop of ice-cream on top of your milkshake! Also, great hamburgers and hotdogs too.
Goat Island Greenway
Goat Island is right across the street from downtown Cramerton. It is an island situated on the South Fork River. There is a beautiful walking bridge over to the island with greenway trails, disc golf, playgrounds and more for a little outdoor adventure. Be sure to stop at Floyd and Blackies for a treat after.
McAdenville
A true "hallmark" town, also known as "Christmas town USA"! While the Christmas decor and lights are only up during the holiday season the town is still full of charm. Cute neighborhood streets, walking paths, downtown shops and restaurants make for a cute place to stroll around. Also, don't miss a stop for a glass of wine or a brewski at Craft, it's our favorite local hang-out!
Supperland
Voted as one of the best restaurants in Charlotte! Located in an old church sanctuary, the dining experience is high-end steak house meets southern church potluck. Not to mention a gorgeous eye-candy interior!
Sycamore
One of our favorite Charlotte breweries! Located in South End Charlotte along the "Rail Trail", this is a great stop for a brew or a glass of wine. A beautiful two-story beer garden with inside & outside seating often hosting live music on the weekends. There is a lot to do in South End Charlotte & very walk-able.
