We first connected on Tinder, exchanging messages until we decided it was time to meet in person. For our first “unofficial” date, Malachi made a memorable entrance by dropping off a flamingo lawn ornament—because, why not? It turned out to be the start of something really good — and it’s only gotten better since.
After that first hangout (and the flamingo’s debut), we kept finding reasons to spend more time together. Whether it was grabbing coffee (which we both can't live without) , watching movies (all the movies Malachi missed out on) , or just talking for hours, everything felt easy and fun. It didn’t take long before we officially became a couple — and from that moment on, we knew we’d found something really special.
Malachi suggested we get some professional photos taken — something sweet we could give his parents for Christmas. I loved the idea and had no clue what he was really planning. On September 15, 2024, while we were walking through the sun-drenched fields at Center Grove Orchard, he got down on one knee in the middle of a sea of sunflowers. It was the most beautiful surprise — and the easiest “yes” of my life. 🌻
