FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. We would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family" if your children have been invited and the "Mr. & Mrs." if only you and your significant other have been invited.

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, 6/1/24, it will be marked as a 'No'. We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in the timely manner they have given us and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope you understand!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting black tie optional for the evening. Ladies, floor-length or tea-length, please refrain from wearing white or shades of white. Men, we'd love to see you in your best suit and tie or tux. No Jeans, Khakis, T-Shirts, Sneakers or Flip Flops, please!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, transportation is not provided, as our Hotel accommodations are all within 2 blocks walking distance. We ask that you arrange your transportation needs ahead of time, we suggest Uber or Lyft.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Vista MKE has two paid parking lot options! First is across the street, Vern's Parking Lot, Second is located behind the building, at 1020 N 4th St Parking.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive to the ceremony at 3:30pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. To avoid any interruptions in the ceremony, we ask if you are late to please celebrate our love at the reception dinner instead.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an 'unplugged' ceremony, meaning once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures.

Question

Trouble with Stairs? We have Elevator access!

Answer

Easiest access to our ceremony are the stairs, located at the entrance of Vista MKE. If you have any issues with stairs or prefer an elevator, we recommend entering through the 'Deer Camp MKE' door and informing the bartender, you need the elevator access to the third floor wedding.
